American Indian College Fund Receives Grant to Expand Tribal Scholars Program


The United Health Foundation (UHF) is increasing its support of the American Indian College Fund’s United Health Foundation Tribal Scholars Program to ensure that Native American communities have access to urgently needed healthcare with a $430,000 grant to provide 13 scholarships for American Indian and Alaska Natives studying in the health and dental fields.

The American Indian College Fund (the Fund) announced that the United Health Foundation’s Diverse Scholars Initiative has awarded $100,000 for scholarships to 18 academically deserving Native students pursuing health or health-related degrees.
