Cover Art Call For Submissions

Tribal College Journal is now accepting cover art submissions for our forthcoming issue on cyberinfrastructure and distance education (winter 2022). Each entry should include at least two different artworks that both, in some way, engage the theme of the issue. Artworks can be paintings, photography, multimedia, drawings, or other two-dimensional artforms. Regardless of the medium, all artworks must be high resolution (at least 300 dpi) or large file size (at least 2 MB) jpeg or TIFF files.

All students, faculty, and staff at tribal colleges are welcome and eligible to apply. The selected artist will receive a $250 honorarium and have his/her artworks published on the cover of Tribal College Journal with a second artwork published inside the issue alongside the Editor’s Essay.

Consent and Warranty: The applicant certifies that the attached artworks are original and that they do not infringe upon any copyright or contain any libelous or unlawful matter. If your artworks are selected, you acknowledge Tribal College Journal’s right to use all customary means to publish and distribute the artworks, including not only within the TCJ magazine and website but also through various online services, digital editions, social networking sites, e-books, published book compilations, printed calendars, and mobile digital applications.
Accepted file types: jpg, jpeg, tiff, pdf, Max. file size: 15 MB.
