Since 2016, the American Indian Higher Education Consortium has worked with tribal college IT departments to build a community of practice, enabling them to better assess their cyberinfrastructure, capacity, and ability to cope with ransomware attacks.
AIHEC’s Aseto’ne Institute has developed a fully online, culturally rooted healthcare curriculum for TCU students. Those who complete the learning journeys earn credentials for the job market and skills to help uplift their communities.

Five years ago, Red Lake Nation College invested heavily in its cyberinfrastructure and distance education technology—foresight that helped ease the transition to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
