UN Special Rapporteur to Visit United Tribes Technical College

The United Nations special rapporteur on the rights of indigenous peoples is scheduled to meet with local indigenous communities at United Tribes Technical College on March 1.

Victoria Tauli-Corpuz is visiting the United States from Feb. 21 to March 3 to conduct interviews on energy-related issues and Native American populations, including extractive industries, renewable energy and tribal consultation, according to a news release from United Tribes.

The meeting at United Tribes is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the UTTC cafeteria conference room.
