A new library and science lab at Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College is expected to open in early October.

The 8,000 square foot building will house the college’s first chemistry lab, a growing library, and the computers used in its distance learning system.

According to President Jasjit Minhas, the addition will offer better educational opportunity by “providing students with more practical knowledge in chemistry, biology and computer science.”

Located in Hayward, Wisconsin, Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College has enrolled 200 full-time equivalent students during the fall 1990 semester.
